Welcome to Grade One!

Dear Grade One Families,

Hello! I am so excited for our year together.

This year is different, but you can count on many things about grade one staying the same: we are going to learn and grow a tonne, we are going to lose lots of teeth, and we're going to have SO MUCH FUN!

Because parents are not allowed in the school right now, communication is going to look a little different. With protocols and expectations changing regularly due to COVID 19, I ask that you please regularly check for messaging from myself and Lakeview. These messages will most likely come via email, your phone, or the Remind app. If you have not signed up for Remind yet, please reach out to me so that I can help you! I send out regular messages and reminders via the app and it is very important that you have it.

In addition to the school and I sending you information, I hope that you will feel comfortable reaching out to me! Please feel free to email me or send a Remind message at any time, but be aware that I may not get back to you right away. I am do my best to "unplug" from work on weekends, holidays, and between the hours of 3:30pm and 8:30am.
